My daughters first meal ever as a chef and its salad! Cucumbers, ripe small tomatoes, carrots. She peeled, cut, and combined with pinch of sea salt, dash of olive oil and balsamic. She said, “mom, this is sooo delicious”. The most effective way to have children learn how to eat healthy food is by immersion – allowing them to make their food. It is also important to set the example, limit their choices and bring only healthy ingredients into the house. As hard as it may feel for some families, limit restaurant eating. I say “feel” because making healthy food in a hurry is in actuality relatively simple #vegetablesbecomethemain #healthyeatingeducation
